Quality Medical and Sterile Silicone Gastrostomy Tube
Silicone Gastrostomy tube is a long clear tube with markings along the tubing, a silicone bolster (plastic disk) outside, and a balloon inside. This tube does not need to be replaced surgically and can be changed at home or in the office. There are 3 ports at the end of the tube: a large clear port for feedings, a small clear port for medications, and another port which is the balloon port.
This tube is manufactured from high-grade biocompatible silicone material to ensure durability, longevity and patient comfort, it will be the test comfort for patients need to replace tube after operating Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG).
Main Features:
- Translucent tubing For easy identification of obstructions and radiopaque line all though the main tube.
- Inflatable reverse retention balloon Allows the balloon to retract into the tube, reducing discomfort during removal and minimizing trauma to the stomach wall lining.
- Circular ventilated external retention ring Pad design provides even distribution of pressure away from the stoma site and allows air and moisture to circulate, reducing skin irritation. Translucent design Enables easy stoma observation to enhance patient care.
- Silicone external retention disc Provides quick fixation and kink-free bending of the tube.
- Quick release clamp Assists with control of flow during bolus feeding and prevents backflow of gastric contents or formula.
- Graduated centimeter markings Give tube-depth verification.
- Color-coded balloon port Helps identify catheter sizes, 12-24Fr.
