Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy PEG Kit

PEG is the endoscopically guided and interventional placement of a gastrostomy tube by percutaneous puncture for the purpose of gastrointestinal nutrition and/or gastrointestinal decompression.

Method of use

(1) The puncture point was determined by the light source of gastroscope.

(2) Routine skin disinfection, towel laying, local anesthesia, incision of the skin, vertical insertion of a trocar into the stomach;

(3) Pull out the needle core and feed it into the annular guide wire;

(4) Insert the snare, tighten the annular guide wire, and exit with the gastroscope;

(5) The annular guide wire pulled out of the mouth and the annular guide wire at the end of the fistula tube were fastened with an "8" -shaped ring buckle;

(6) Pull the annular guide wire on the side of the abdominal wall to reach the stoma through the mouth, esophagus and cardia, and pull out from the stoma;

(7) Re-enter the microscope to observe whether the fistula tube and gastric wall contact properly, and fix the fistula tube and connecting head.
