Method of use
A:The anesthesiologist shall hold the body of SLIPA, put the front end of it into patient's mouth, and place patient's head in the aspiratory position (head titled back,neck bent).
B: Continue to push SLIPA downward,and press the back butge of SLIPA so as to make it pass through patient's front teeth smoothly.
C: Hold patient's jaw and put the thumb against the heel of SLIPA.Push SLIPA downward and forward with force by thumb(there is a feeling like entering a buckle), and make SLIPA slide into the deep throat until the heel is stuck between patient's nasopharynx and soft palate.
D: The anesthesiologist can push forward or pull up SLIPA with a little force.When it feels a little resistance, it means that the SLIPA is in the right position.
E: Connect SLIPA to the ventilator, check the sealing performance and keep the airway unobstructed.
